Welcome to 24th Street Early Education Center. I am truly honored to serve as your principal and to partner with you during these precious early years. Beginning school is a big milestone for young children and for families, and we are committed to making this transition joyful, nurturing, and full of positive first experiences.
At 24th Street, we believe childhood should be filled with wonder, exploration, and meaningful play. Our program is built on The Creative Curriculum®, a research-based approach that recognizes play as children's most important work. Through intentional play experiences in carefully designed learning centers, your child will explore, discover, and build critical skills across all areas of development, from early literacy and math to social-emotional growth and problem solving.
When you walk into our classrooms, you will see children painting, building, pretending, exploring nature, and laughing together. Our goal is for every child to feel safe, confident, and excited to come to school each day. Creating a welcoming and inclusive environment is at the heart of who we are. We want our school to feel like an extension of your community.
I also believe strongly in maintaining an open-door policy. If you ever have a question, a concern, or simply want to share something about your child, please reach out. My door is always open, and I am committed to listening and partnering with you.
We are excited to learn, grow, and celebrate together this year. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your child’s early learning journey.
With gratitude for the opportunity to serve your family,
Patricia Ojeda
